congrats on Day 4! that's wonderful, make sure you give yourself props for that eh!

it's very early days, of course you miss him. I'm sure despite what happened, he misses you as well. Try to focus this time/energy on getting YOU all better though. This is YOUR time to sort through the rubble.

Good job on day 4. Sorry you're feeling down! Keep your head up and steer clear of the bottle.. it will get better as long as you stay sober.

Day 4 here too. I finally slept a little last night, I hope you could. I'm sorry you feel this way. At least you won't be driving a uhaul full of furniture for 24 hours to Florida to move in with your mother. I feel so low and ashamed. Hopefully we can all help eachother through this terrible time. At least we are sober!! Stay strong hun<3

I've had to move in with my mother and out of our home until I find an apartment...he's staying with friends/his dad (our condo flooded a few weeks ago and still isn't repaired...but I'm not moving back in with him)

I hope you're having a good day NYCfitnessgirl

The beginning of the sober journey is often turbulent for many as something big generally happens to propel us on this sober path. The path does smooth out over time; stay strong!

These are difficult days. Facing the alcohol induced rubble is tough business but applaud yourself for doing the work you must. This is the beginning of the end. You are striving towards the light of the sun. You are standing in it already. Tough thing about the light is...we can finally see what we once refused to. It is only in the sun that we blossom.

"And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom." ~ Anais Nin
