Hi guys, I'm in the middle of our 4th block party. Happens every year. It's crazy, I'm in month 8, but I'm really having to work hard to not drink. Our whole street drinks. I'm fine, but I was not expecting to be working so hard in my mind. Can't wait till this is over and I wake up early feeling good.
-the purpose of this post is just to vent a bit to those who get it

Malcolm, "can't wait till" something is over is a good indication you are not enjoying yourself, go home and relax.

You don't NEED to be at that party, working hard is not enjoyment, it may be time to implement your exit strategy!!

I agree. Even with 9 months I wouldn't be putting myself in that situation. It isn't worth it!

I'm not going to do anything, guys, don't worry. Just edgy. I can't really leave since it's on our street. Street's blocked off and all the kids are outside. I'm in right now getting more sparkling lemonade. Not having fun but the kids are. I'll survive sober. Think I'll light off a few M80s at 6:00 am, though.
