hey Hey there im Mandy and im alcoholic.I was drinking a 70cl bottle of spirits a day for the past three years.My liver is damaged and i got severe dt's regularly which led me to be hospitalized.I was told i had kindling by a consultant in there.It's time to pull myself together and stop drinking once and for all.

Welcome Mandy!! How long have you been drinking for (you said heavily for three years, before?) ? Welcome to SR!!! And congrats on getting sober! that's the BEST thing you can do! it only gets brighter and better from here on in

Hi and welcome, Mandy. Glad to hear you've already begun your sobriety and are on day 5! Do keep coming here. You'll find lots of help and support. Do you have plans for what to do aside from coming here?

Welcome Mandy! Congrats on 5 days : ) So what plan of action do you have for staying sober? I know in my experience trying to do it on will power alone NEVER worked! There's lot's of programs out there, but AA has saved my life and so I'll just throw that out there for you to consider. This disease is horrible and we have to fight to stay alive.
