Day 13 and 35 years.
My 35th bday is today. And 13 days sober today!
My ex-bf is taking me out for sushi for my bday tonight. Already had a nice bday dinner with friends on Friday, but its still nice to have something to do tonight besides sit on my couch alone.
My ex and I are on good terms...sorta. It's more of a breakup that didn't quite take. He leaves the country in a few months so we're just kinda spending some time together before he leaves. He is actually the only person that really knows that I have a problem with drinking, and he doesn't quite know the extent of it. But he's so supportive of me not drinking...more so than my friends, who are not NOT supportive, they are just in the camp of "you don't really have a problem."
So despite the fact that I have to work on my bday which is bummer, looking forward to dinner tonight. And really really really celebrating that I'm sober on my 35th bday. A few months ago, I didn't think I would be able to say that!
