so sore
I had all kinds of aches/pains/weird stuff going on for the first weeks. It could be the flu or something too - a trip to the walk in or a call to the doc wouldn't hurt if you are worried.
Well, let's see. I slept 15 hours at a time frequently. I took ibuprofen every day - hadn't taken it while using (unless for a hangover).
That's similar to the flu. Also, if you've ever tried cutting carbs you get what is called the "Carb Flu," tired, lethargic, cranky. The body craves carbs. Alcohol is a sugar. Carb. You've cut your carbs by a lot.
Try eating more carbohydrates than you normally do for a month or so. This is the perfect time to have ice cream, dark chocolate bars, potatoes, etc. You will naturally cut back again once your body has adjusted to the lack of alcohol.

My body was super sensitive during the first couple weeks. Flu-ish even that I had dripping nose and all. My symptoms were also usually worse in the morning and got better later. It's our system adjusting to no sedative, I think.
Don't let this holding you back, keep going it'll get immeasurably better!
