ooh. This is nice!
After weeks of peaceful silence, my XAF tried to call me this morning (I think he may have fallen off the wagon for the second time since blaming me for his drinking and then cutting me off). I thought I'd blocked his number but hadn't got the settings right!
I had a codie couple of minutes full of "why's he calling? What could be wrong?" but I ignored the call, deleted the answerphone message before I heard it, and had a nice cup of tea!
No guilt. No more panic. No more him!
I feel like I've passed a major test and I keep waiting for the guilt etc to hit, but for the very first time, I don't think it will! What a nice feeling it is!!
There's no way on earth I'd feel like this if it weren't for you all on here - so THANK YOU for the kindness and support you've shown me. Free at last!!
