Welcome. Give us as much as you are comfortable with sharing. No judgements here. Only lots of great folks who know the struggle.

Welcome, you made the biggest step I think. It's hard to admit to ourselves that something is wrong and we have a problem.

Relationships can be worked on and most of the time fixed with a sober approach and a clear mind.

Glad you joined

Good to meet you Rando. We are here to help - you found a great place for support.

None of us set out to hurt our loved ones. Try not to dwell on the past - look forward to a new and better life. You can do this.

Day 1 sucks, I cried most of the day. It gets exponentially better really quickly though, just take it 1 day at a time and you will feel better soon!!!

You can do this! Check in often! We are all here to support you and walking this road together one day at a time. You have a lot of people here who have all gone through day one, day two, etc.

they may need some more time to come around. Especially if you have said in the past you will stop....people tend to get walls/boundaries set up to protect themselves, understandably so right?
Hang in, keep moving forward, one day at a time....when they see progress, most family/friends will slowly let those guards down.

Welcome

just remember how much worse it can all get if you do pick that bottle up. Play the tape to the end.
