180 days today!

Thanks for the Support!

My last cigarette was on January 6th, 2004. I've had some smoking dreams recently. There are 3 others guys that quit around the same time as me.

I give God the credit for me not smoking, and being clean and sober for over 22 months. It took time to quit smoking, I tried quitting last july.

Have saved $900( cigs) + $90 (lighters) = $990

Spent most of the money on food though, gained and lost 20-30 pounds.

My weight is back to normal now, whew!!!

Everything tastes and smells better, but on the other hand, now I can smell all the bad stuff too. The smog, oil in air, dust, dirty socks and shoes. whew!!!

But I am grateful that I am not smoking for today. I don't put my choices on others, I can't change them.

Cya later everyone, God bless

Congratulations!!!

Just putting in time helps me, and I haven't actually counted but I'm only a few days ahead of you. I still have my bad moments, but it's just not an option for me today. Tomorrow is tomorrow, but just for today I smell like a rose, LOL.

Hugs
Ann

WooHoo

Hiya SPc/s,
Way to go your doing great. By the way you deserve the credit too you know because God will help those who are willing to help themselves!

Keep up the good work, the bad always has to come with good. Your taste comes back but then you have to smell the smog and stuff like you were saying. But your lungs are thanking you just the same,

Hugs,
Penelope

Spc/s,

Great job! I also had smoking dreams where I would be smoking and someone would say with astonishment, "What are you doing?". My "id" was trying to resolve my love/hate relationship with smokes!

Keep going. Don't let some crummy, addictive little cigarette kill your health!
