Worried Mother of Drug Abuser
I'm not sure if this is the right chat room for me or not. I am the mother of an adult male who recently got out of prison and has started using crack again. He is in Indiana and I live in Florida. I am looking for a support group to help me help him. Any suggestions? Thanks

kkrazyflgal - There is a section for friends and family of substance abusers. Friends and Family of Substance Abusers - SoberRecovery : Alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and Information You will find more support there. Also their is a program called Nar-Anon that can provide support. Sorry you are dealing with this as I am sure you care deeply for your son or you would not be here. There are also open NA meeting to try to understand the nature of addiction. Hope you find the support you need.
