Hello, I am new to this forum and just the little I have browsed I think it is so helpful. My daughter's fiancé is addicted opiates. He has been through one recovery program. (inpatient) then relapsed and was sent to prison for 14 months. He was just recently released (Feb) and already has begun using again. As of now, my daughter is still committed to walking this with him and staying with him so I am doing all I can to support her. We have done a lot of reading about opiates, addiction, recover, signs etc over the past year but I can honestly say I do not understand how a young man can have a bright future right in the palm of his hand and begin destroying it again. I will look forward to reading posts of others stories to help us gain insight and strength and wisdom
