Welcome to SR Karaw,

My poison of choice was Alcohol. But an addiction is an addiction right?

Have you consulted your doctor before quitting cold turkey? It's always a good idea and will give you peice of mind.

Best of luck

That's a good point. Yes I have. I was going to go on naltrexone but I'm at a point in my life where I am taking a pill for everything e.g champix for nicotine etc.
I might have to though. Your right an addiction is an addiction my codeine habit only started6 months ago before then I never went near it ! Ugh now I have ANOTHER addiction to face

Glad to hear you are quitting. That's a lot of Ibuprofen to be ingesting. I second the idea of seeing a doctor and making sure you are okay.

Welcome Karaw

I think the advice to see a Dr is good - they can advise you on what they think you should do and make sure that everything physically is ok with you.
