a reason to stay sober

While going through some stuff, rearranging finances etc. I apologized to my wife again today for getting us into this mess. I told her going from $$$$$ to this really sucks. She told me she'd rather have no money than to see me drunk every day. That is what drives me. Don't know what I would do without her.

She sounds like a very loving and compassionate person. It's good that you have her support.

Didn't you mention that you lost your good paying job or something becos of alcohol? Could you briefly touch on how that went down??

Might be of help to newer people such as myself or even just people who are on the fence and still skeptical of the "consequences" of drinking.

Thanks
