Bad Insomnia
It's 2:00 in the morning where I live, and I just can't get to sleep. I've been trying, but failing. Detox is no fun for sure.
I fee like if the hiccups went away I might be able to fall asleep. No luck though.

The first night is always rough for sleep, but as you know it gets better from there.
Remember this Justin - really keep this night with you....
memories of nights like this, and how you feel, can be a great defense against relapse.

My RAH too is very focused on sleep. He is always worrying about it and it was a typical excuse for why he drank. But the irony is he is sleeping! I fall asleep but wake up almost every night. Some nights I can fall back asleep and others I am up an hour or more. My H is nearly always asleep! And now without drinking he does not snore as loudly or have that sleep apnea either so his sleep appears more natural and restful.
So I am a bit befuddled why it's all about sleep when he IS getting sleep. Anyway, I am on SR early fairly often in your time zone. So just know if you are up, you aren't the only one. Peace to you and yawns!
