One month!

Today I've reached one month of sobriety & 28 days nicotine free! I'm really proud of how far I've come! I've had some really tough days but God has been with me and carried me threw them! I'm excited about my sober future & I'm so appreciative of the support from everyone on this site! You guys are awesome!

Well done, Mistical. I imagine that it is not all easy to slay two dragons at once.

Very nice Mistical. Quitting alcohol and nicotine isn't easy, so be proud of yourself.

I celebrated one month sober yesterday, but today I feel close to slipping. It's not even that anything has happened. I don't know what it is. Going to go back and read the letter I wrote myself the day I quit, I'm hoping that will help.

Coming here was a SMART move - you're catching yourself and taking positive action to correct the stinkin thinkin ! Good for you ! Yes, re-reading your reasons for staying sober is a great move. Play the tape too - how would feel about yourself for a matter of a few hours of numbness ? Is it really worth it ? Can you get out and go do something ? Take yourself for lunch, phone a clean family member or friend? You CAN stay the course and keep building that brighter future - You're Worth it !
