About to snap!

23 Days Today!! It was tough in the beginning, but is getting easier, I think. My triggers today are really weighing in on me!!

First: Work has been slow all week!! Wich means no money and employees are going to have to wait a couple of days to cash checks!! And when there is no cash flow, lets just say the wife is not a happy camper..

Second: The wife is being a total you know what!! My therapist warned me about this. She wants to see me fail so she can say, see I told you so or just has a reason to complain! She would complain when I drank and now she just finds different sh@t to complain about..

Third: Stress! I have been getting my ass kicked all week long. I have been trying really hard to keep calm and look at the brighter side of things, but today...........

Boy I am really missing just drinking myself to sleep!! Ahhhh..

Congrats on 23 days sober! Before you know it you'll be sleeping better than you ever did when drinking yourself into a coma.

Hang in there. Say a prayer. Breathe.

You can get through this!

Have you considered couples counselling for you and your wife?

Hunter I'm glad you posted about your frustrations. I definitely felt that way often in the first few months. I was glad I didn't cave because it all calms down - despite the stuff going on around us. You're getting used to a new way of life & it's an adjustment. You'd be so mad at yourself if you woke up hungover and fuzzy - not worth it!
