got my phone back!
Odd title I know. Part of my agreement with my family when they bailed me out was to sign a contract. One stipulation was no phone use. They believed it would prevent me from contacting drinking friends. I actually had access to computers and other social media so if I wanted to I could have contacted anyone I wanted without them knowing. So they really had no reason to keep it, but I didnt care that they did. I didn't need it and wanted to gain their trust. After 46 days, they have given it back. Though I dont have much actual use for it outside of my iTunes, it feels good to be trusted.
That's a great story!
Honestly, I think that is going to be one of the great things about being sober. I want to be able to show my friends and family that I really can be reliable and trustworthy.
