just poured 5 beers down the drain

Lately i've been doing this 1 or 2 beers a night thing then dont drink for a few nights then the 1 or 2 beers thing. Even that little bit compared to what I used to do leaves me with a foggy and anxious mind the next day.

Last night I said to myself. Tell me you WON'T feel better tommorrow if you don't drink tonight. So, i didnt drink.

Well..... I feel better. I get it.

Gonna get off the pity pot and go do something today.

Good for you! Congrats on your decision. Stick to it and come here with anxieties.

Good decision. I use the same thought proccess sort of. I think back about how I used to feel the next day. It's helping keep me sober.

Leave the hangover for the drain, it can handle it but we can't!

Well done!

Good on you best down the drain than down your neck....you must have alot of self control with the one or two beers
I couldn't do that as soon as i get a taste i metamorphosise into a nasty, angry creature who will drink and drink till the brain makes it pass out...
So good on you !
I can understand with the pity but doesn't help we just have to make the most of our situation and love each day that we are sober !
Come on here next time your struggling ....

Great choice!

The fog and anxiety are a great reason to stop.
