So close to giving in right now, im living at home at the moment and my older brother has come over to decorate, he is BLASTING the music and singing whilst he paints, im utterely EXHAUSTED was up at 3 am and cant sleep through this madness going on in the house, he refuses to turn it down aswell

Can you go sit in the car? I have two young kids and do that sometimes (as well as sit on the back patio) if I feel I need some quiet time for a few minutes.

Your brother sounds a bit selfish, politely ask him.to turn the music down as its stessing you out, no need for a row just a firm word, if all fails if you can go for a walk, i know you have explained your exhausted but maybe some space will do you good
A drink sounds tempting but DON'T give in it will.not change how you feel or make your brother turn the music down

You most certainly will not be judged that I can assure you! Oh and its totally normal to feel like this so early in sobriety but I promise it will pass, keep soldiering on and don't be shy to post whats on your mind ok
