Woke up this morning feeling great. Went to an AA meeting, and actually talked to a few people. Even went to a movie. I haven't felt this good in a very long time. Don't know why, but don't need to know. Just trying to enjoy this feeling as long as it will last. Tomorrow, I might go back to being a negative person, but that's tomorrow. As usual, my AV took the opportunity to try to convince me that today would be a great day to drop by the liquor store for maybe a six-pack, go home and relax. But I've fallen for that trick before and saw it for what it is. The last time I bought into that BS, that one day turned into two weeks of hell. Not going for it this time. Instead, I'll just chill out with my chocolate ice-cream with fudge. If I'm gonna consume empty calories, it might as well be something sweet.

Great job today! Keep at it.

I am in the early stages, only 5 days, but I figure it has to be better for my body to have 200 calories of ice cream than 2500 calories of alcohol. Umm, coffee ice cream, love it.

I never heard of Cinnamon Bun Ice Cream, but I love Cinnamon Buns!! I'll be looking for it the next time I go shopping. Who makes that ice-cream?
