The sun is out today. It is Friday! Who is heading out for their local fish fry tonight? Maybe there is one at the same church as Al Anon?! Well isn't that convenient!?

My kid headed off to school early for a competition today. I helped him with an excel spreadsheet last night. You know it is a big deal when he ditches the hoodie for one day. He is probably going to be my height by the end of summer. We are eye to eye and I helped him shave earlier this week. I am grateful that my DS and I are close.

And a work buddy is popping by for lunch today. I rarely get such a break!

A good day for a Gratitude Thread!

Last night I received my first Stitch Fix! Anybody heard of this? It's going to become my number one recommendation for self-care for anyone with a bit of disposable income and a dread of shopping for clothes.

I just got fish and chip for lunch.
Helped a coworker change out his rear shocks and weld one broken mount.
Free fish Friday..I'm thankful.

My oldest daughter came into my office yesterday afternoon to catch a ride home.
When I walked in today, there was a note on my desk from her, saying "I love you mommy! Have a great day! " and that gave me the opportunity to start the day off right!
