Well done chilled. I enjoyed the mornings too. The absence of guilt and self-reproach was priceless.

Six hours of honest, real, sober sleep beats being passed out for 10 hours! Way to go!

Thank you, I've not had the best couple of days but your post has helped start my day off a little better!

Been isolating myself far too much and been lazy (things I actually feel guilty about in sobriety) so I'm hoping to turn that around today and start feeling good about myself again.

Does anyone else find themselves getting frequently more tired easier or lacking motivation as they get further into withdrawal? Im on day 4 and today whilst my sleeping pattern has gotten better i'm still tired and lack motivation to go to the gym or do any study..

That is totally normal! I think its the body and mind '' resetting '' itself back to normality. It takes time

Completing at least one thing a day is
progress for me. No, it doesn't have to
be perfect, as I remind myself. If I wake
up sober first thing in the morning, asking
please help me remain sober, then at
days end to say, thank You for keeping
me sober this day, then that is a huge
accomplishment for any alcoholic or addict.

One thing done each day to the best of
my ability is a small step in the right
direction to learning to live a happier,
healthier way of life in recovery.

Good work for each day sober..!!!
