Today I had an exam for the physical therapy program I'm in. Super nervous during the days leading up to it, took the exam, got my results immediately, did very well. Huge relief but also had that nervous energy bouncing around. First thought to enter my head was a beer (or 12) would be the usual way I would "celebrate". Looking back at my drinking history I realized that a lot of the time I would binge drink would be after some accomplishment that somehow justified getting wasted.
It was nice to have the thought about having a drink, acknowledge it, and get to the gym ASAP and treat myself to a carne asada burrito. AHA moment.
Day 25 tomorrow!

You are very smart to recognize an issue and take immediate action to deal with it. Like they say, you must be ever vigilent for those creeper triggers.
Congratulations on your 25th day ahead of time! Great progress, keep it up.
