How do you kno when it's time to let go?

I'm guessing you're the mother of an addict. You let go when they're of the age to be adults. You let go when they're able to make their own choices. You let go when being involved only gets in the way of their recovery. You detach with love when their using affects you so negatively. Let go for your own sanity.

I encourage you to go to the Friends and Family of Alcoholics or Friends and Family of Substance abusers (whichever applies, or both), you will find lots of information and support there. There are stickies at the top, read, read...you will get so much support and info.
