This is random I know, but I quit smoking and drinking January 12, screwed up Saturday night but back on track now. But ever since like 2 days after I quit I've had this awful taste in my mouth. I thought it might be from quitting smoking but I wasn't a heavy smoker. Usually only smoked when I drank and not a lot. This ever happened to anyone??

I think I had that. It is from Dehydration. Just drink loads of water.

maybe your mouth tastes that way, and the smoking covered it up?

Maybe have a dental checkup? Not pleasant I know, but as I know to my cost - drinking can lead to problems

Well the thing is I've always been kind of obsessed with oral hygiene. Always brush several x a day, floss every night. My last teeth cleaning at the dentist was in October and I got an excellent report. No cavities. My mouth isn't dirty lol. It's just my tongue has this weird metallic taste. Especially in the morning. Weird.
