what to do

I was married to a opiate pill user- and I don't think I'm ever going to do the right thing. I have always waited until she spun out of control before I reacted. She did go to rehab until she crashed the car - then after rehab I didn't send her to her parents until she stoled from work- I didn't get divorce until she ran away and was living with a meth addict. Now she has a live in boyfriend who watches our daughter when she goes to work. I have joint custody where I have our daughter 70% of the time - am I doing the right thing by letting her make poor decision until she screws up again. I mean she keeps sending me to court and the judge throws out the case because of her past. Now I'm just afraid of what she has become. She has been sober for over two years but three months of that she was in rehab.

My priority would be my child to be honest. As adults we are free to leave situations, but children aren't.

Have you checked out the 'friends and family' section? Also to SR

Hi and welcome cvwrip

I'm not a parent but I'd certainly be fighting for my daughters well being if I was.
You'll find other parents here, and in our Family and Friends forums too
