Giving it a try
Hi,
I'm on day 4 drink-free. I was drinking an absurd amount essentially for 25 straight years. Recently, it got even more absurd. I couldn't deny my problem any longer.
As with most, I'm enjoying difficulty sleeping, absence of appetite, and intense anxiety. Also, wondering how long my commitment will last.
Anyway, it's helped to read posts from others sharing their experiences and encouraging one another.

to SR! I'm glad you joined the family. Four days is a great start to a better sober life. I'm living proof.
