I did not drink last night

I am very happy to report. I took my daughter to Brownies. Normally I would be rushing her out the door so I could get home to my wine (I never drink before because I refuse to drink and drive). This time I just let her take her time and enjoyed watching her with the other Brownies. It was good.

I couldn't believe how much time I started giving to my children, where as in the past my goal was to get the kids in bed, or rush through their reading etc etc, as all I had on my mind was that drink!!
