hello

my name is classylady and I am bi-polar and take strong meds for that lately I have been drinking along with my meds and am feeling very sick.

Welcome to SR!! My first recommendation is to see a dr. and be totally honest. They can't help you if they don't know the truth (I was an RN before my addiction ended that career).

I have an uncle who is bipolar and was an opiate addict. It took him going to prison, for a long time, and finally hitting bottom to reach out to a dr. for help.

I'm glad you're here. You are NOT alone, and I'm sure you will find a lot of support.

Welcome! Meds and alcohol don't sound like the best combo. Please stick around and chat with us about any support you need. Also, seeing a doc is a good idea.
