Time flies

I haven't had a drink for 14 days. I still have a good job but I lost my marriage. I've made bad choices. The obvious question is what am I going to different this time? I will need to do something different. I still have a lot I could lose.

I actually believe my perception of time has slowed for me with sobriety. I am more present in my life and able to take more in. I felt time flew when I was drinking and would have periods that who knows where they went but I could not remember them. I was on a bullet train to hell and time was flying. I sort of think sobriety and recovery are like a time machine giving me another chance at things I wronged and giving me back time, something all my money could not buy before.

Congrats on two weeks Joe

I think different is a good move - what kinds of things did you do before?
