Day Two

Made it through night one even though my older son, 6 years old, had a really hard time falling asleep and I was pretty frustrated. When I normally would use his difficulty as an excuse to go get drinks, I didn't. What made me feel that extra push to stay in bed was joining on here and corresponding with you--there's accountability here. He eventually did fall asleep, and I took a half a dose of Sleep Aid, which also helped me get through the night. I slept okay, but was up for a good 3 hours in the middle of the night and then off and on after. I feel tired (also groggy from the Sleep Aid), but NOTHING like I normally feel. The feeling I like most of all right now is conquering the night without booze.

Great job Luna you'll keep getting stronger and stronger! You were wise to log on her rather then drink, there's always someone around and always someone who understands

You are doing well. It may not be easy to start with, your body is readjusting but as everyone says it will get better. You need to hang in there and string some days together. It won't be long before you start to see and feel a difference. Well done and good luck

Well done Lunalight! It is hard when you make such a dramatic change, you just need to keep remembering that it's a change for the better in more ways than one x
