I am sure there may be a thread somewhere answering this, so sorry if its a recurring question. Please tell me some of your symptoms around this time. I am very happy to have found this site and have learned much about what I have already experienced. Things got better for a while, but this past week has been tough. I have not had the urge to drink because I already feel so crappy. Nasty headache, dizzy, chills, rear neck pain, tingling over my entire body, and insomnia. Thanks for your input in advance!

Welcome Iluvdisney. Congratulations on your 56 days - that's wonderful.

I had all but the neck pain for about 3 months. We beat ourselves up badly - it takes time to heal & for our bodies to adjust to the 'new us'. As least mentioned, it's best to be safe and see a doctor. I hope you'll begin to feel good again soon.

Thank you I am seeing my Drs regularly and having an MRI shortly. So much blood tested I feel like a pin cushion...more blood tomorrow morning. I am just feeling like I can't distinguish what could be withdrawal or something else. It's so frustrating, and sometimes I feel like they think I am nuts or I feel judged.

I felt ill and panicky for a couple of years. Still do from time to time, but it;s better than being drunk.

A lot of us get all manner of aches and ailments after we quit...we've punished our bodies for a long time...
