Vanity is keeping me sober today.
I have lost weight since putting down the bottle 20 days ago and it is keeping me sober today. I gained almost 40 pounds in the last 2 years and I am ready to get rid of it!
I know I have to focus on the good in my recovery so today I am enjoying pants that aren't so tight and brighter skin!

I am down to losing my last 2-5 pounds and that loss (over 20 pounds) is almost all due to quitting drinking, plus I have a nicer, flatter tummy (no more bloat). It feels good to feel good all of the way around! Here's a crystal glass of water with a lemon wedge, to healthier, more beautiful, more radiant us!!!

I'm was as vain as they came in the beginning. I dreamed of all the Botox and shoes I could afford when I first quit. Then it just naturally turned into this thing where I absolutely fell in love with myself because of nothing to do with my outsides.

Oh I still like a fabulous pair of shoes now and then but that's all they are. Just shoes
