Well I made it through my first Friday night sober in 3 years! Around 8/9 pm I thought I would give in as the urge started to become overwhelming but I stayed strong and I made it . It's so good to be able to come here and have people appreciate what an achievement that is as all my family and friends don't seem to think that 2 days sober is that hard but people here understand that when the drink takes you, 5 minutes is an achievement let alone 2 days!

Now I just have to make it though today. Normally I would start drinking around 11 am on a Saturday and drink right on through till around 1 am! Today will be tough but I know I have you guys if I need any help
