Checking in here is good for me
Thank you
Measuring days sober hasn't really worked for me personally. Making some positive life changes and thinking about things in the broader sense has though. SR has been instrumental in that kind of thinking.
I'm not completely abstinent, I don't plan to be. I hope you will still have me. Being here is good for me, and whatever the case my life is better as a result of being here.

You're always welcome Kys.
Instead of measuring sober days you might want to try measuring "drunk" or "hungover" days and see if that works better for you.
You have almost 300 posts since January.
You must be wanting to change something.
Good Luck with whatever you're trying to do.

Yes , you are always welcome here. The important thing is that you're trying to cut back. That's great! Sometimes it is easier to be happy for the days we don't drink to oblivion. On the days we slip, it's good to know that the next day we can try again. Give yourself a pat on the back.
Many of us are in the same boat as you. Sometimes it's hard posting here when you are still drinking. I'm trying to eventually quit completely, but in the meantime its nice to have people to talk to about any alcohol related issues.
