Day 5, no opiates!!!!!!

Woohoo! I made it! This detox was the easiest by far, I slept 12+ hours a day! I still have a little naseau but it's bearable. Now that the physical part is over I must fight the emotional battle that I've lost twice before. I know we are not supposed to give medical advice but what about "vitamin" advice? Any advice on what vitamins to take to help with the " lack of energy" for the weeks to come? I return to work Sunday night and my job requires me to be quite physical, this is what usually draws me back in and start using again ; / So here I am 5 days clean and there's no turning back now! Today is the first day of the rest of my life!

For me, I take a strong prenatal plus sublingual b12, vit d, calcium and I eat tons of bananas and drink lots of water! I recommend exercise! It will speed up the endorphin process in your brain that's been tricked by pills. I try to get in 30 minutes daily on my treadmill. It really helps a ton! Get a good sweat , or do as much as you can to start.

Great job on 5 days clean from opiates! IMO the first few days are always the hardest (getting hit by the mental and physical withdrawal).

I was never big into vitamins so I can't offer any insight there, however, fruits and veggies did WONDERS lifting my mood and helping my energy levels early on in recovery. Mostly apples bananas carrots and broccoli.

Keep up that great positive attitude!
