Hi, my name is Holly. I am currently 58 days sober from opiates, mainly Percs and oxys. It's been rough a try with severe insomnia, depression, and anxiety. I'm trying my hardest to stay strong, but it's such a hard process.

I am sure your 58 days have been hard fought for. Great job. It gets better. This is a great place to post and read, especially during those early weeks and months.
One thing that really helped me after that initial detox, no matter how hard things were, was remembering that they were a whole lot worse during acute withdrawal and that was an experience I certainly didn't want to repeat.
Besides, at 58 days the wounds on my wrists from the restraints at the hospital were just healing. That was an event I didn't want to rinse and repeat.

Thank you all. I have been to the dr and I am on cymbalta, ambien, and klonopin, but I don't want to take them all the time bc I don't want to get addicted to something else. a couple of days ago I did get in some trouble with the police and was arrested. Since I don't use I still get urges and unfortunately mine overtook me and I stole 2 credit cards. One I didn't use and one I spent 300 dollars. But bc they were both in my car I got charged with grand larceny, impersonation of an individual, and bc I had Advil mixed with klonopin they added a felony for narcotics. So I'm scared out of my mind. I don't know what I was thinking. So all together I am being charged with 4 felonies. I have no previous criminal record, but this whole experience is making my hair fall out, and I can't eat at all.
