Two days is a good start. Just remember your last drunk and how it made you feel, and think of where that first drink will lead you.

Keep it up, and best to you.

Lesson learned, right?

I think we all try to push the boundaries from time to time and not just when it comes to drinking. I know I have always placed my toes over the line in the sand just to see if I could get away with it.

Day 2 is a good place to be. You are here and you are trying again. Don't be too hard on yourself. You now know that going out this early into your sobriety is a trigger for you, so you can avoid doing this next time. Its a lesson most of us have had to learn. I had to avoid certain places and people in early sobriety until i had enough confidence to know that i wouldn't drink. Stay strong.

Yeah - I remember that too.

I really needed to change my life - I didn't want to - but I had to - my old life was all about the drinking.

Day 3. Thanks for all the support SR! I'm deep into the Rational Recovery book now. It's giving me a lot of confidence.
