I am new here
Hello everyone, I am new to this site. I am a 39 year old female. I have been in the program of Alcoholics Anonymous since 2005. I have been in and out of the rooms. I would get a month here and there and than a year a few times. I recently recieved my first year madallion back in August. Of course I had to go back out last year. I have been in service since January of 2013 so I am new to service but enjoying every min of it. I got myself a wonderful sponsor is is taking me through the steps. She is the best thing that has happened to me in a long time. I am doing so much better than I was a year ago. I finally have some peace and serentity now. I did not think that would ever happen to me but guess what It did. I believe the promises do come true, you have to have patience.
I am a student now, I entered my second year of Human Services. I would not be able to attend school if I were not sober. I have so many wonderful people in my life now that actually do care and are there to lend a hand when needed. I finally belong somewhere. May God Bless you all
