4 1/2 Months and Received Nice Compliment!

Met my mom for coffee (who knows of my sobriety journey), and she told me I look younger! She said my skin looks better, and my eyes look brighter and clearer!

I almost wanted to cry, it felt so good. I avoided looking in the mirror for so long because I didn't like seeing my haggard appearance, and now that I am sober, I am taking care of myself again! Course it helps that I have also lost almost 40 pounds:-)

Feeling real good about me today:-)

Isn't it fun to try on all the things you "grew out of"? It's like getting a whole new wardrobe. Congratulations on your new look and healthy, sober new life!

Your mom and little dolly must be so proud of all your success. Loosing weight is a feat of its own add sobriety to it and that's one hell of an achievement! Congrats on 4 1/2 months
