Dy 4 and AV

I hurt my partner when i hit rock bottom a 5 days ago. I will never ever go there again.

I am feeling heart broken that i haven't heard from him or even know if we are still together.

I have the stupid AV telling me that if he doesn't come back that i should just drink anyway. I have no power over alcohol and refuse to do this. If he does leave then every man in my future will too unless they have more issues then me. Most likely i wont even meet another man if i don't get sober. I love this man and he is the one.

Stupid alcohol voice trying to mess with me. I know i am going sober for me and if i don't for me then i have no future.

You are right. And if you get sober and stay sober you have a better chance of getting your partner back.

Give him time and space us woman want to solve the problem right NOW!!!! Men are usually ( in this case ) more retreaters and digest the situation before acting. It's only been a few date I'm sure he will come around at least to talk. Show yourself you are stronger than drinking and you will show him you're ready for a different future. Keep your chin up. Focus on being healthy and things will fall where they should.

I agree - give him time. You need to focus on you right now anyway.
I know it's hard to switch it off, but worrying won't help matters anyway.

Drinking certainly won't
