Well I have made it 9 days With no alcohol or cigarettes and am actually feeing confident in myself about this! Insomnia has been rough the past couple of nights. I woke up way later than usual today which is never good but I was very well rested. I have not had a full nights sleep or anything other than power naps or drunk sleep in years. It definitely has not been an easy task but I can feel it starting to pay off.

Way to go, ironman. I finally really slept for the first time in 12 days. Not great sleep, woke up a few times but slept for 8 hours. Keep in up, I admire your resolve.

Congratualtions on Day 9, Ironman!

I don't miss the "drunk sleep" at all. Waking up after a couple of restless hour with a racing mind and pounding heart.

Isn't it great to wake up without a hangover?

Hey thanks!! Sleeping sound and peacefully is awesome!!! I think it is equal to the feeling of waking up without that hangover and racing heart! I never knew a fat boy could have energy like this either!! Im just sayin!
