Hello to everyone.....about 3 days sober again. I will try to make this short but I was sober for a couple of months, started a new job I liked. Things were going good accept finances but at least I had hope. May 28 my vision at work felt like I was getting a migraine so I left work to go home in my car. A couple of hours later I was at the ER in the Mayo Clinic did not wake up for 2 days. I am grateful I have a second chance but the seizure meds are making me very depressed & I want to drink. I cannot drive for 3 months & take care of my mom who is 83 & ill. The doctors do not want be back at work until my next MRA. I have fibromuscular dysplasia of the carotid artery. I did drink one day last week. I thank God I did not kill anyone but I am soo depressed. Any words of wisdom will help. Thank You

have you spoken to your Dr about this depression?
that would be the first step for me.

I think it would also be good for you to join the current month group - tons of love and support there
