Having a hard time

is there any not aa numbers i could call? i need to talk to someone, but i cant deal with the higher power stuff.

Try this link for contacting AA in your area. I know for my area in California our central office number has a live person that answers even if the office is closed to help anyone who calls.

Dang! I just re-read your post that said NOT AA...so sorry!

I'm not sure of any other resources, maybe a crisis line if you feel you need that?

Each area seems to have its own crisis line so you would have to look it up based on where you live. But you can always call AA and just talk about sobriety. Most of them will not preach to you. Just explain that you prefer not to discuss the god stuff but are trying to stay sober and need help!

Not sure if you are looking for conversation or counseling. Definitely some of the former in the chatroom, no guarantee on the latter though.
