Welcome to SR Kaybee. It sure is a helpful and supportive place - I think you'll really enjoy being here.

I drank all my life and couldn't find the courage to change. When I came here there were so many people with my same thoughts and fears. It felt so good not to be alone anymore. Glad to have you join us.

Hi kaybee,

I found this site when I was 5 sober, but I wished I would have found it when I first quit. This site is wonderful and you will get lots of support and help here!

Welcome to SR,I didn't find this site until I had been sober a few years.I find it helpful to me.There is always someone online from somewhere in the world.

Helpful? Early on, if this site hadn't been here, I don't think I could have attempted sobriety. The support, and the ability to allow me a voice of support, has been very very helpful.

Welcome Kaybee! Yes, this place has been absolutely wonderful in helping me in my commitment to sobriety. Initially I just poked around and read a lot of the posts and that inspired me to quit drinking, so then I made the decision to quit, and then finally joined SR. It provides great support and encouragement, as well as kindness and wisdom. I visit several times a day. Glad you found us!
