hi all!

i just wanted to check in. it's day 6 for me, and i'm still doing well! even went bowling with the family today (and i won for the first time ever! yes, my tiny children usually stomp on me!!!)

anyway, i've been reading here a lot, and studying my BB, and keeping in close contact with my sponser... and for 6 days now i've woken up and said, "i'm not drinking today." and i haven't! it's spectacular to go to bed and wake up feeling good!

i hope you all are enjoying your weekend wherever you are in recovery... and if you're not in a good place inside yourself today, i'm sending out some extra peace for you...

and thanks again for being here. i for one know i can't do this all alone... and it's such a hopeful thing to know i don't have to with the support here and in my recovery program.

6 days! Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!! To me, waking up without a hangover and remembering what happened the night before is the single best feeling.
