I saw this posted here and loved every entry...............

My favorites are:

I will not be in a relationship with someone who uses drugs. If I even suspect drug use, I will end it. It will be over.

I will not be in a relationship that is completely one sided where I feel like all I do is give and give and give. I will end it because I know it's better for both of us in the long run.

I will not stay in a situation where I feel disrespected. If someone is disrespecting me, I will walk away.

I will not knowingly accept lies in a relationship. If I even SUSPECT someone is lying, I will walk away.

I will not support an adult who is physically capable of supporting himself.

I will not clean up after an adult who is physically capable of cleaning up after himself.

I will work on me to be the best person that I can be. If I find that someone else is preventing me from doing that, I will not be in contact with them.

I will not expect someone to do anything that I am not willing to do myself.

Great reminder for me especially now that I'm Newly single and working on some strong boundaries for myself so that when I'm ready to date again which will probably be years lol and I'm soooool ok with that, ill be better at picking partners..

I wish I had seen that list years ago. We have saved me a lot of trouble - not to mention saving trouble for those going out with me!
