Just for today, I am going to not mind anybody's business but mine. Already this morning I have made a career decision for one of my friends ("He should be doing _____!!") and dating plans for another (she should go out with Y! Why has no one ever thought of this before?)
Luckily I stopped myself before I got all up in their business. This codependence is a runaway train.

I hear ya, girl! Hey, I'm in the Southwest, too(Phoenix area), but I'm in Tucson today for a tennis tournament.
I am constantly reminding myself that I do NOT know better than everyone else and that even if they ask for advice, I don't have to give it. I now tell people that I will pray for them and that they will find their own answers or I tell them to try counseling, Al Anon, or some other form of help and self-care.
