Ultram and restless legs
Today is day 11 off ultram(tramadol) but this restless leg is driving me insane. I know we don't give medical advice but I want to know others experience . I have had this for years before stopping ultram, but have taken requip. Over the last year restless legs have gotten worse up dose right before had brilliant idea to go cold turkey. Would not recommend this to anyyyyy one. But today is day 11. Sleeping still an issue, my problem is that I can't take any OTC drug because I am on call at night. Been taking requip, but restless legs Hugh deal I am so exhausted that I don't know what to do. Last couple of night get into hot tub,but afraid because it helps but went to sleep in it last night, all one dealt with this?

Hey there, I suffer from Restless Legs in spurts as well. In fact it happened last nite again. I know I can look forward to about a week and a half of not getting to sleep. The only thing I found I can do for it is to get up walk around abit and then lie on the couch with my legs up on the arm of the couch. I have to do this for a couple of hours with writhing and twinging happening.
It was one of the early reasons for starting my drinkinig, I found that if I could drink a lot before before I would passs out and my legs wouldn’t go.
Now I suffer thru it. someone said to me once, NO ONE EVER DIED FROM LACK OF SLEEP.
Mine comes and goes. Try lying on the couch with a meditation tape playing. Might help.
