Been off the drink 17 days and just keep being so scared of ever picking up another one missed one meeting and no balance is this normal to have such massive fear of future I know just think of today this minute but fear creeps in all the time

I think people react differently liss.
I was certainly scared to death - for a while - until I regained confidence in myself to stay sober.
If you're really scared maybe it's best not to miss meetings - not until you regain a little perspective?
