Day14 today has been really difficult
Day14 today has been really difficult
I'm on peace day no.14, today I had lot of withdraws. Yesterday was such a great day and today I feel depressed. Can't find anything to do that gets the drink dream out of my mind, I am trying to remember all the shame I had to pass trough before I quit drinking but seems something is triggering me to drink. Its still past mid day here, hope I can do.....
Thanks for reading.
Thanks for reading.
congratulations on those two weeks JC
things will get better - and you'll find that bad days are just that - bad days - not bad weeks
Try not to let the dreams get you down - everyone has them - I chose to believe they meant nothing and I just continued staying sober
I think if they mean anything, it's just our subconscious dumping some rubnbish
btw - you posted this in Daily Support - you'll get much more response here in Newcomers.

Well Welcome to the Rollercoaster of Recovery!
Sucks because its not an easy ride,
But its comforting to know you are not alone on it!
Look into PAWS, it gives you some understanding of what your mind & body are going through in the early stages of recovery.
All the Best!
